Sambal Manis

Milder sweet/sour variation.

Ingredients:

  • 10 red Chillies (approx. 6 - 9 cm. long) or equiv. Sambal Oelek.
  • 2 dessertspoon Tamarind paste (skin and stones removed).
  • 2 tablespoon Palmsugar(Goela Djawa) or Dark Brown sugar.
  • 1 teaspoon salt.

Preparation:

For preparation see sambal ulek, mixing in the other ingredients at the same time. Will keep in fridge for about 3 - 4 weeks.
